Gartner’s research asked organisations what their top 3 reasons for investing in a P2P solution. References selected the following:
- “Guided buying” – to hep requisitioners identify and use the correct suppliers, contracts, catalogues, e-forms and policies for spending.
- Increase savings by improving contract compliance.
- Improve procurement productivity by delivering detailed spend insight.
Organisational objectives for P2P adoption are moving away from traditional drivers like getting rid of paper and streamlining the order process, to a more tactical and holistic approach to P2P.
