think ensures that searching on a broad range of catalogues, suppliers and service providers is extremely fast. Most searches are returned in less than a second and are relevant to the search term(s) used. Further refinement or searching again on previous searches is a simple click of a button. Transactional buyers do not need to know product codes or understand what the classifications are, they simply enter what they are looking for in the think search box.

TRANSACTIONS

think organises all transactions into a number of categories using the UNSPSC classification standards. Those transactions are organised using proprietary learning algorithms and have similar or the same characteristics. IT Hardware, Stationery, Trades, Professional Services, Furniture, Telecommunications & Data, Utilities and many more categories are all managed by think as a true managed catalogue service.

ASSETS

think tracks the purchase of assets and can flag asset purchases when passing transactions back to the ERP or finance system. think can also track transactions against the asset to gain a greater understanding of the Total Cost of Ownership.

UNSPSC & GL Matching

UNSPSC

think's flexible classification hierarchy inherits the UNSPSC codes in order to create uniformity amongst its customer base. This uniformity enables organisations to benchmark in real time across a myriad of dimensions in order to gain greater understandings of its own procurement landscape. This also enables the strategic sourcing team to gain real time insights into performance more than ever before.

GL MATCHING

During the initial implementation think matches the UNSPSC codes to the specific GL codes of each organisation. This means that individuals no longer have to interpret what needs to be classified. think does this right down to the line item level which gives an even greater level of accuracy and visibility. This standardisation ensures when the relevant purchase orders and invoices are integrated back to an ERP the GL codification is automatically completed.

INTERFACES

think's interfaces are designed to be flexible and secure in order to 'connect' with any 3rd party system including finance and ERP systems for both buyers and suppliers. Each interface for customers is subtly different and does require modification.

TRANSLATORS

In order to provide robust, fast and future proofed integration think deploys specific translators as a web service to the core API for each integration artefact. These APIs are fully PCI compliant and can be fully encrypted as per the external system and the think Security Mandate.
