about the board
Peter is a Non-Executive Chairman, Non-Executive Director, Advisory Board Member, former Business Unit President, Managing Director and Director with over 30 years Board & Executive Committee level experience across the Securities, Racing and Payments industries.
At Board level he is currently a Non-Executive Director of ASX listed MINT Payments (ASX:MNW), Non-Executive Chairman of IPG Group (Hong Kong) and a Member of the Advisory Board of IPG International (Hong Kong).
In an executive capacity he is currently the Managing Director of PHW Consulting P/L and most recently was the President – Asia Pacific of OmniPay Limited an Irish domiciled global payments processing company. Previously he was the Managing Director/Senior Vice President/Executive Director with First Data Corporation’s Asia Pacific and Australia/New Zealand businesses. Here he initially held IT, Business Development & Sales Leadership roles then was responsible for M&A in Asia Pacific for several years before being appointed Managing Director of Australia and New Zealand and finally an Advisor to the President of First Data International in Europe.
Peter holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Management and a Masters Degree in Business Administration and is a Member of the AIC
John joined the thinkholdings Limited board in April 2018 and in October 2018 commenced as Managing Director. A payments eco-system expert, John was previously Managing Director, Fintech Solutions, APAC at Transaction Network Services (TNS).
TNS have been delivering industry-leading networking, integrated data and voice services solutions for the payments, financial and telecommunications industries since 1990. Prior to joining TNS, John was an Executive Director at financial services provider Indue. With more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services, technology and payments industries across Australia, New Zealand and Asia, John began his career with the National Australia Bank in 1995. Six years later he joined the First Data Corporation where he held several senior executive positions before being appointed as Managing Director of its business in Australia and New Zealand in 2011.
John holds a Masters of Business Administration from Sydney Graduate School of Management and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
David is a finance industry expert with more than 18 years’ experience as an advisor, stockbroker and manager across the financial services industry. Most recently David was a Director of Corporate Finance at Asia Principal Capital and before that spent over 13 years with Macquarie Bank in their Private Wealth Division as an Associate Director.
In that role David advised both retail, and high-net-worth, sophisticated investors on a range of investment strategies in both listed and unlisted equities and equity derivatives.
Over almost two decades, David has built a strong franchise in identifying, advising and capitalising emerging growth companies across a diverse range of sectors from mining and mineral exploration to consumer goods and software/disruptive technology.
David holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and is currently a Director of Aesir Capital.
